In The Spirit Intended with Author Alan Black

Author Alan Black was raised and grew up in the United Methodist Church. While he proudly embraces his background and personal history within the United Methodist Church, he feels that ultimately what is important is not the denomination that you are a part of, what matters most is the relationship that you have with the Lord. Part and parcel to any relationship is the level of commitment that one makes to it. With any and all relationships they are going to take time to grow. 

He describes his relationship with the Lord using one word, “transformation.” Continuing to grow daily in his walk with the Lord, and as well continuing to display the fruits of his Spirit daily is for him what life is all about.

In The Spirit Intended the second book released by Alan T.Black is a continuation of his journey and purpose to be obedient to what God is calling him to do. It is a collection of 35 essays written as a way and means to inspire and encourage others as they go about the process of their daily walk with the Lord.  Each essay is written as a reflection of the Lords’ presence and impact in our lives and is a refreshing alternative to the usual daily devotional ensemble.   With intriguing titles such as “Footprints In The Sand “Metamorphosis” and “The Three Little Pigs” the reader will be lead to pause think and reflect on what each essay means to them and how the Lord may be calling them to answer their call In the Spirit Intended.
