Rolf Remlinger is a teacher, musician, author, son of German immigrants originally from Warren, Michigan, a retired (as of May this year) public school Music Educator of 33 years and currently working at Ohio State University. Mostly known as an orchestral percussionist, Rolf has performed and toured with a number of ensembles, symphonies, choirs, and also lead the Delaware Hayes Marching Band to an Outback Bowl performance in 2012. Since picking up the guitar, Rolf has performed with Apathy, MJ Beeghley, Ben Osborne, and now Ken Schwartz in IN-A-JAM as a multi-instrumentalist playing guitar, flute, ukulele etc, and singing lead and harmony. In 2014, an original song written and recorded by Rolf was chosen for a European Progressive Rock sampler CD. Corrosive Exponent Too features Rolf playing drums, acoustic guitar, all keyboards, and additional percussion, along with the talents of Jacob Bondar on electric guitar and bass. As part of the media team on Cruise to the Edge, Rolf has had to privilege to meet and work with artists like Paul Bielatowicz, Simon Fitzpatrick, Dave Bainbridge, Carl Palmer, and long time friend Robert Berry.
