I am happy to have award-winning artist Diana Toma back as my guest for Live Your Music! Join us for a conversation about Diana's art, creativity, and the importance of finding your “why” during the show.

Diana Toma is an award-winning Romanian visual artist that now lives in the greater Atlanta metro area. Influenced by the European culture in which she was raised and enriched with an American flavor, her style arrived at a unique cross that blends traditional techniques with a contemporary take on figurative painting.

In her own words

"My whole life gravitates around creating art. I paint to bring about a sense of wonder and engage YOU, the viewer, at an emotional level. I want you to create your own personal meaning from the paintings I paint. The meaning is left on purpose for you to filter through your personal filters. Art is not meant to be explained but to be experienced.

Alongside my studio work, I’ve been bringing together a growing community of art lovers by teaching painting classes and workshops. My goal as a teacher is to facilitate class participants to silence their critical inner voice in order to uncover beautiful images of the self by surrendering to play, in a quest to empower them to become fully self-expressed through painting. In my classes, we explore the emotional aspect of what we observe around us, using classic mediums like watercolors, acrylics, and oils but with a contemporary approach."
