IF IMPARTIALITY?

Since no one is to blame  where freemasonry-lite leaves doubt about our capacity to live up to advance billing, then every true mason is responsible. And please let me be within that group of mature masons who assume responsibility is an act of maturity.  To my great shame, I have failed a primary expectation. I fear being ostracized and trade off my obligation to you. Where you need me to be impartial, I crumble. Give me a ballot- I do not exercise judgement.  An inexperienced master, a bully secretary a few conspirators sent to ensure the needs of a lodge supercede respect for the candidate and marginal candidates with substandard work, are accepted by the Master builder. And I support this with my white ballot while hypocritically noticing their disinterest.  A smile, perfect attendence and little if any appetite for discovery, recidivism so poor, meetings ridiculously boring, and me in my piety enabling this gaming of everything I privately believe. And from this point, I cannot and will not support substandards. This I promise. Freemasonry is a thinking mans experience. Today, we tolerate a few ego fueled firestorms and carry out the pastiche, dishonestly holding back.  Freemason is not altered by the way we've been complicite.  Wisdom of the East- Audi, Vida, Tace- extracted from China to Japan and into a guiding motto the lads ignore, has not stopped us making Freemasonry into a club by stripping out those uncomfortable truths. Ethics? No one cites the evidence of unethical behaviour  Metaphysics? Not for simple minded.  Meetings that inspire are few and far between, until time and space created this flawless mirror reflecting our actions.  And for this- I apologize for letting you down. I did think I had entered an order where advancement depended on merit. I have not lived up to that ideal because I stopped listening. Audi.  Join me brethren. I am not alone.
